Place is clesn and affordable and in a quiet area with a nice lake view.
Got a room offered to us at a discounted rate despite being a little late for check-out time the previous day. The couple who run this place are nothing short of angels...they're very accommodating to their guests and always working hard to maintain clean rooms. Lowest rates in Marshall county. Free WiFi is always appreciated. 5 stars!

The rooms are large, they are clean, the showers have plenty of hot water, my only complaint is the hard bed ,you can feel the springs in it, otherwise it's a large bed The price is good for the value the size and im suprised he doesn't charge more than $60. Friendly and professional. L
For the price this place is ok. It's not the Hilton of Beverly hills but rooms are always clean and safe.if your on a budget it fits the price.A little out of town but not very much. If your on a tight budget it will work nicely.

We stayed there about 4 months until our house was ready. I've heard some and some bad about the place. But we had a good experience with them they kept rates way more affordable than any other place. The owner spent 7 days a week cleaning rooms and maintaining the outside. He also sprayed rooms and when times got hectic he weeded out the ones causing problems. Thanks again to the friendly staff and owners of the American Inn we really enjoyed staying there along with a new respect for you as owners and all the hard work you put in to make things affordable.
